Alas Purwo National Park Management Technical Officer, Eko Prihanto explained, Alas Purwo National Park area will be closed starting 3 Iuli to 20 July 2021 coming.

With the implementation of Emergency PPKM, no tourists are allowed to visit the forest tourism area.

“Currently closed. According to the circular, Alas Purwo National Park will reopen in 21 July 2021 coming," he said.

Therefore, there are no domestic or foreign tourist visits in Alas Puro.

All tourist activities are also temporarily closed.

Only local residents who work looking for seafood, who were given permission to enter the Alas Purwo National Park area.

“Residents looking for seafood are like shellfish, octopus, lobster, and fish that are allowed to enter the Alas Purwo National Park area. Because it is their livelihood every day,” he said.

As long as Alas Purwo National Park is closed, Eko said, officers continue to carry out routine activities. Officers continue to patrol the forest.

The officers also cleaned the road area to Alas Purwo National Park.

Even, officers also provide education on health protocols (prokes) to residents around the national park.

"If there are residents who enter the area and don't wear masks, we will rebuke. This is according to the order that has been enforced,” clear.

Apart from the main entrance which is closed, officers also closed all access to the rat road to Alas Purwo National Park.

The entrance to Tanjung Sembulungan by sea is also closed.

Meanwhile, many ascetics and tourists from outside the area are forced to turn back.
