BANYUWANGI – BUMN PT Pelindo III (Persero) held a mass rapid test for free for 3.000 people in Ketapang Port and Tanjung Wangi Port, Banyuwangi, in waves for three days.
Reported from banyuwangikab.go.id, Regent Abdullah Azwar Anas directly observed the implementation at Ketapang Port, Banyuwangi, Thursday (4/6/2020) with the chairman of the Banyuwangi DPRD, I Made Cahyana Negara.
“What has been done by BUMN PT Pelindo III is one way to detect early and mitigate the spread of Covid-19. Thank you SOE,” said Regent Anas.
The free rapid test is prioritized for crew members (abb), residents around Banyuwangi Harbor, and logistics actors which were held in stages over three days.
Regent Anas said, Currently, his party is also continuing to add rapid test efforts for residents. This is done to detect and try to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19.
“We continue to conduct random rapid tests, especially in locations that are usually places where many people meet, such as traditional markets and shopping centers. We have now also ordered ten thousand rapid test kits for the next batch of inspections,” said Regent Anas.
“Let's all stick to the health protocols, both when active at home and outside the home,” Regent Anas' message.
Meanwhile, GM General Manager of PT Pelindo III Tanjung Wangi Branch M. Nizar Fauzi said, The mass rapid test was carried out for three days from Tuesday to Thursday (2-4/6/2020).
“As of this morning, there is one reactive, then follow up to the health authorities. We will update the progress later,” Nizar explained.
