Banyuwangi, Jurnalnews – Located in the Minak Jinggo hall of the Banyuwangi Regency Government, The Banyuwangi Regency Children's Forum held a discussion with the Banyuwangi Regency Children's Forum to express opinions, ideas and thoughts to the Regent of Banyuwangi, Thursday (02/05/2024).
In conjunction with the commemoration of National Education Day, The event was opened by the Head of Banyuwangi Regency Bapeda, Dr. Suyatno Waspo Tondo was followed by the District Children's Forum, as well as representatives of the District Children's Forum and Village/Subdistrict Children's Forum.
“The children who attended were children chosen by children's representatives in Banyuwangi Regency, Yayan said.
Provision for the children before the activity was delivered by Dr. Arie Cahyono, S.STP., M.Si. (Widyaiswara BPDSM East Java Province). Ari conveyed about the Convention on the Rights of the Child (KHA) which is the basis for the birth of the Child Rights Law.
“Children's growth and development cannot be the same as adults, so it requires special attention, said Ari.
In this children's consultation, it is hoped that suggestions about children will come from the children themselves.
Apart from BPSDM, Debriefing was also delivered by five SKPD and agency leaders, as in the first Cluster by the Head of the Population and Civil Registry Service, The second cluster is from the Head of the Banyuwangi Regency Ministry of Religion Office, The third cluster is from the Health Service, Cluster four is from the Health Service and Cluster Five is from the Social Service, Women empowerment, Child protection and family planning.
Syafaat representing the Head of the Banyuwangi Regency Ministry of Religion Office, Chaironi Hidayat, said that the second cluster discussed the family environment and alternative care., which in this case will focus on preventing child marriage.
"We will take the children to the Banyuwangi District KUA for an audience with the Head of the Banyuwangi District KUA, explore data on the causes of child marriage to further discuss prevention, " said Syafaat.
The Children's Forum also conducts outing classes to agencies according to their respective clusters.
