PEOPLE'S NEWS – The impact of the rejection of the area being used as a Final Waste Disposal Site (TPSA) from residents, Banyuwangi is currently experiencing a waste emergency.

The impact is that tons of rubbish are still stuck in a number of rubbish dumps in the city of Banyuwangi. Because it's been days- Today the rubbish at the TPS and in a number of Banyuwangi City neighborhoods has not been collected.

As is the case at the rubbish dump in the Boyolangu Village area, until Tuesday (29/11/2022) Garbage generated from local community activities is piled up on the side of the road. Even due to quite heavy rain, a lot of trash is washed away by the water.

It is not uncommon for people and road users to pass along Jalan Mawar, cover your nose because the trash is emitting a bad smell.
