ROOFTILE, Jawa Pos Radar Tile – A single accident occurred on the main road in Curah Ketangi Hamlet, Setail Village, Tile District, Banyuwangi, Thursday (1/6). The pickup driven by Handoko, 29, from Puger District, Jember, with a load of overturned lemuru fish.
There were no fatalities in the accident. It is just, lemuru fish that will be brought to the fish factory in Muncar District, it spilled into the streets. "This accident occurred at around 14.30," said a member of the Tile Police Traffic Unit, Aipda Erico Fernando.
According to Erico, The accident started when Handoko drove his vehicle from the west at a rather high speed. Upon arriving at the scene, the left rear wheel suddenly broke. "Flat tire, the car is out of control," he said.
Handoko controls the steering wheel of the car, it's clear, trying to control the vehicle. But, the pickup even swerved off the track and overturned. "The truck overturned and overturned, The lemuru fish that was brought spilled out in a mess,"he said to Jawa Pos Radar Genteng.
Lucky still he said, the overturned pickup did not eat up the road. So that traffic jams on the main route Banyuwangi-Jember can be avoided. “The fish will be brought to the fish factory in Muncar, fish moved to another car," he concluded. (sas/abi)
