WATER HITS.EN - Banyuwangi Police again succeeded in uncovering cases of sexual intercourse with minors. The intercourse was carried out by the victim's stepfather with the initials SY (42) in Giri District, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java.
Head of the Banyuwangi Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Kompol Agus Sobarnapraja explained, the case was uncovered after SA (16), report to his older brother. SA has experienced sexual abuse since 2010 2020 and last in years 2022.
“We managed to uncover this case after carrying out the investigation process within one month, We secured the new perpetrators on Tuesday (24/01/23) o'clock 23.30 in her home." said Kompol Agus.
Kompol Agus explained, ironically the suspect is the victim's stepfather. The lecherous act was carried out when the victim's mother left. The modus operandi of the suspect was to lure the victim to the point where he threatened not to send money if he did not want to serve his stepfather's depraved lust..
For his actions, the suspect is subject to Article Article 81 Sentence 1 Law (UU) RI No 17 Year 2016 regarding the Stipulation of Perpu No 01 Year 2016 regarding the Second Amendment to Law Number 23 Year 2002 concerning Child Protection to become a junto Law Article 76D RI Law Number 35 Year 2014 regarding Amendments to RI Law Number 23 year 2002 about Child Protection.
