BANYUWANGI – Rumah Toleransi yang didirikan Yayasan Sad Jaya Abadi di Desa Sembulung, Cluring District, Banyuwangi Regency inaugurated, Friday (23/2) at night 18.00 WIB.
This ceremonial activity was attended by Forpimka, Cluring District and all religious people, local village area. Also present was Gus Nuril Arifin Husein, the caretaker of the Abdurrahman Wahid Soko Tunggal Islamic Boarding School, Semarang, Central Java., Sri Guru Jaya Sakti Ashram is located in Ubud, and Maha Guru Sri Jaya Nara of the Bhayam Tabanan Valley Ashram, Bali.
Gus Nuril gave his appreciation to the Sad Jaya Abadi Foundation for building a house which he said could be used as a place to strengthen tolerance between religious communities and things related to nature..
“Semoga kedepannya rumah bisa lebih bermanfaat bagi seluruh umat,” kata Gus Nuril dalam ceramahnya.
The inauguration of the house of tolerance was marked by the cutting of the cone by Sri Guru Jaya Sakti Ashram Muniwara and the reading of prayers.
Meanwhile, Sodi, the chairman of the house of tolerance, explained that this place was built with the ambition of participating in creating a prosperous and happy society.
“Rumah ini diharapkan dapat menjadi wadah dan menfasilitasi terjadinya hubungan yang harmonis dengan ketiga penyebab kebahagiaan yaitu Tuhan, nature and man,” terang Sodi, after the event.
According to Sodi, rencana awal tempat ini dibangun sebagai tempat persinggahan untuk saudara – saudara dari Bali yang ingin melakukan perjalanan ke tanah leluhurnya di pulau Jawa.
However, along with the development of time and seeing the importance of developing tolerance between religious communities in Indonesia, Yayasan Sad Jaya Abadi memperluas fungsi tempat ini agar juga dapat mewadahi kegiatan – kegiatan bersama antar umat beragama.
“Kami berharap tempat ini dapat menjadi tempat untuk penyelengaraan seresehan, seminars or discussions on matters that strengthen tolerance," he explained.
"Forward, This house can also be used for these activities,” jelas Sodi.
Sodi added, in the house of tolerance there is 5 building. The first building is a pavilion, serves as a meeting place, the second building is a residence or lodge.
This third building consists of a secretariat room, common kitchen dining room as well as a place for discussion, the fourth building is the male and female dormitories and the fifth building is an open building that functions as a multipurpose area. “Siapapun boleh singgah kemari,” pungkas ketua pengurus rumah tersebut.
