BANYUWANGI – An old man was found dead in a former fishing pond in Kedunen Hamlet, Desa Bomo, Blimbingsari District, Banyuwangi Regency, Thursday (16/8/2018) about o'clock 14.30 WIB.
The victim is known named Matsari (68) the local residents, found face down and floating on the surface of the water used for fishing ponds.
“Korban mengalami penurunan daya ingat, the deceased lived only one kara,” ungkap Kapolsek Rogojampi, Commissioner Suhariyono.
According to the Police Chief, before being found dead, The victim is known to have left the house since Tuesday (14/8/2018) morning.
Victim's sister, Jumhar, already trying to find its whereabouts by tracing the corners of the village, but the victim was never found.
“Kemudian baru sore tadi ada warga yang laporan bahwa menemukan sesosok mayat laki-laki. We immediately headed to the location,” terang Suhariyono.
From the description of the medical officer, The victim is thought to have died about two days ago. For this incident, The victim's family refuses to do an autopsy.
