TRIBUNJATIM.COM, BANYUWANGISatreskrim Polresta Banyuwangi catch the perpetrators ATM breaker at Indomaret Lateng, Banyuwangi District/Regency.

Two perpetrators who are residents outside the island were arrested for the incident. They are IRs (32), Serang people, Banten and AM (42), residents of Cilacap, Central Java.

Banyuwangi Police Chief Kombes Deddy Foury Millewa said, The suspect was arrested in Yogyakarta. Arrests made less than 24 post-event hours.

The ATM burglary incident took place on Monday (5/6/2023) between o'clock 02.00 until 04.00 WIB.

They were arrested for cooperation Satreskrim Polresta Banyuwangi and officers in the area the suspect was arrested.

“Pelaku hanya dua orang. One as executor on the inside and one to protect conditions outside,” kata Deddy, Wednesday (7/6/2023).

Deddy added, the two suspects broke into the ATM professionally.

Before action, they turn off all surveillance camera or CCTV cables.

They first entered Indomaret by breaking through the roof and ceiling.

While inside, The suspect broke into an ATM machine using a grinder.

Cash at ATMs and goods sold in shops worth hundreds of millions of rupiah were stolen by the perpetrators.

After doing the action, they hurriedly fled and ran towards West Java.

The suspects are now being detained at the Banyuwangi Police Headquarters. They are charged with the article 363 verse (1) 4e and 5e of the Criminal Code.
