BANYUWANGI – Puluhan ekor ayam peliharaan warga di Dusun Mangli, Karangsari Village, Sempu Kecamatan District, Banyuwangi Regency, died strangely and mysteriously. The chicken died in a stiff condition, although there are no abnormalities.
“Kurang lebih ada sekitar 15 the tail of a chicken that died suddenly. This condition has been going on for several days,” ujar Handoko, a chicken farm owner, Thursday (26/7/2018).
The bird died suddenly in the morning. “Padahal sebelumnya itu sempat lari-lari lo, Lha how come it suddenly stopped immediately stiff. It's weird,” ungkap Handoko.
Handono confessed, It's been two days since he heard the news that there was a dead chicken in his neighborhood. And just today, dozens of chickens also died suddenly.
“Kita khawatir ada penyakit yang menyerang ayam kita. At this time we immediately report to the Department of Agriculture," he said.
By citizens, the suddenly dead chicken carcasses are immediately destroyed by burying and burning.
