Banyuwangihits.id – Perhutani KPH South Banyuwangi together with the Sector Police (police station) Purwoharjo, managed to save 17 teak wood logs are suspected to be illegal in Sumberjati Hamlet, RT 06 RW 02, Grajagan village, Purwoharjo District, Banyuwangi Regency – East Java. Revealing this case was conveyed by ADM Perhutani KPH South Banyuwangi Wahyu Dwi Hadmojo to Banyuwangihits Journalists, Friday (10/05/24).

“Security was carried out at around nine o'clock this morning,” said Wahyu Dwi Hadmojo.

The highest leadership of Perhutani KPH South Banyuwangi explained, the discovery of logs of teak wood based on public reports. These findings were followed up with the Team Commander (Ndanru) Polhutmob coordinated with BKPH Karetan and BKPH Curahjati personnel, and accompanied by the Purwoharjo Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

"It is true that seventeen logs of teak wood were found with the physical characteristics of former cuttings from the South Banyuwangi KPH area,” explained Dwi.

Dozens of teak logs, secured and entrusted to TPK Gaul Grajagan. Meanwhile, the police are still investigating the owner of the wood whose identity is not yet known. (DIN/YACHT)
