WATER HITS. ID – In the joint operation of Polhutmob KPH South Banyuwangi, members of the Purwoharjo Police, and South BKPH personnel, managed to save 41 illegal teak logs in Jatiluhur Hamlet, RT 02 RW 02, Glagahagung Village, Purwoharjo District, Banyuwangi. This was conveyed by Waka ADM South Banyuwangi, as well as Acting Acting ADM KPH Banyuwangi Utara Muhlisin Sabarna, Wednesday (01/02/23).
“Joint operation carried out, managed to find teak logs in the yard of an empty house," said Waka ADM South Banyuwangi Muhlisin Sabarna.
Discovery of teak wood as much 41 rods in the form of spindles, approx 6,180 cubic meters. It is suspected that the wood came from the Perhutani Petak forest 20 D RPH Fur Pad, BKPH Watu Dodol, KPH Banyuwangi North.
"Furthermore, the discovery of the wood has been secured to TPK Gaul, Grajagan Village, Purwoharjo District, " said Muhlisin Sabarna.
