BANYUWANGI – Banyuwangi Road Cycling Community (BRCC) will take part in the Tour De East Java cycling event 2014. A number of the best racers were deployed in the event held on date 6 until 7 next September. One BRCC team will be strengthened by racers who are already classy and have great achievements in various previous events. The five racers who were included in the Guntur Priambodo team were among others, Warsaw, Kurniawan arises, Muhamad Taufik, Herwin Jaya and Eko W Nandra.
Besides that, BRCC also brought one reserve racer in the event. He is Eko Setiawan. The six racers officially departed for Sidoarjo yesterday. BRCC Banyuwangi will compete with 15 teams both at home and abroad to reach the best position. Nine teams from abroad viz, Aisan Racing Team from Japan; Tabriz Shahdari Ranking, Iran; Malaysia National Team, Malaysia; Terengganu Cycling Team, Malaysia; than Eddie Hollands, Australia.
Besides that, there is Team Gusto, Taiwan; CCN Cycling Team, Brunei; RTS Santic, Taiwan; and Tabriz Petrochemical Team, TPT. Whereas, a team from Indonesia namely Polygon Sweet Nice, Trans Libas Sidoarjo, KFC Bike Team, Kukar Kutai Kartanegara, dan Pegasus Continental Cycling Team. BRCC is predicted to achieve sweet results in this event. This refers to the various events that have been participated in. Owner BRCC Banyuwangi, Guntur Priambodo admitted that his team was ready to fight for the championship in the event. ''We are fully prepared,'' he said.
About the target, BRCC will try to perform better. Entering the top three seems to be a realistic target with the provisions that have been carried out so far. As known, The racing event has entered its 2nd edition 10. This time, there are only two stages that will be devoured by the participants. The first stage will cover as far as 133,8 Kilometer (Km) starting at Kahuripan Nirwana Village Sidoarjo. In the second stage devour as far as possible 130,7 Km with start at Trowulan Museum and finish at Hotel PCP Trawas.(radar)
