PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Tbk once again held the BSI Charity Concert 2023 themed 'The Journey of a Masterpiece'. This event is to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of BSI, at the same time remembering the work of Didi Kempot and Chrisye.
Known, This concert was enlivened by a number of Indonesian musicians, starting from Andy, Marcell Siahaan, to Farel Prayoga. They performed hit songs by the two great Indonesian maestros. Accompanied by music from the Twilite Orchestra conducted by Addie MS.
as the opening act, Marcell performed the song 'Sabda Alam’ popularized by Chrisye. Not alone, Marcell had a duet with Rayinda Prashatya who was one of the twin sons of the late Chrisye.
Apart from Marcel, there was also Andien who performed the song 'When Love Teases'. Andien looked beautiful wearing an all-white dress with a shawl of the same color.
Age appears, Andien also shared his memories of meeting the legendary Chrisye in person when he was still a teenager. According to Andie, Chrisye is a warm and humble person.
“And from that warmth, I'm not surprised why his songs always stuck to our hearts. Every thing he conveys is like a theme song in our lives,” Andien said on the sidelines of his performance at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday (28/2/2023).
“How it conveys the message, I believe that the late Chrisye was an extension to convey a message of love for all of us as human beings who are full of feelings,” he added.
The event was even more crowded with the appearance of a young singer from Banyuwangi Farel Prayoga. Farel managed to shake up the BSI Charity Concert 2023 by performing a medley of the hits The Godfather of Broken Heart, Didi Kempot. Among them Sewu Kuto and Balapan Station.
Known, BSI Charity Concert 2023 held as the culmination of BSI's 2nd anniversary celebration. This event combines the concepts of an orchestral concert and charity to invite customers to participate in donating for victims of natural disasters in various regions in Indonesia.
