BANYUWANGI, Journal News –Research institutions and community service (LPPM) Indonesian Bakti University (WHERE) Banyuwangi, the institution was given the opportunity to attend the invitation to the Gombengsari Village Anniversary event (BRUSHED) the th – 22. Sunday (01/12/2022).
Gombengsari Village is located in the Kalipuro District. Banyuwangi Regency. East Java. The event was packaged nicely with the opening dance, the Gandrung dance, which is the pride of the people of Blambangan, continued with the performance of the Gombengsari PKK mother union choir and ended with a public discussion event.
In the invitation, The UBI Banyuwangi Campus was also given the opportunity to involve several of its students to participate in enlivening the Gombengsari Village Anniversary event.. The event was held on Wednesday (28/12/2022).
The event which was held in the Sumber Manis tourist destination area of Gombengsari Village was packaged nicely with the theme "Save Regeneration by Loving Nature and Local Cultural Arts”.
In the activity. Public officials were also present, stakeholder, community leaders and academics from several campuses in Banyuwangi.
Research institutions and community service (LPPM) UBI Banyuwangi, together with invited VIP guests symbolically had the opportunity to plant a thousand trees guided by the Gombengsari Village committee for the preservation of the environmental area in the Sumber Manis tourist area.
After carrying out the planting of a thousand trees, several invited guests were then introduced to see and be directly involved in the potential of the Gombengsari Village.
Alternately the invited guests are guided by the committee trying to roast coffee over a fire, followed by milking the Etawa goat. The purpose of this activity is to introduce the various potentials of the Gombengsari Village as a tourist destination.

The excitement of the Gombengsari Birthday event (BRUSHED) to be enthusiastic and grateful to build a better and prosperous Gombengsari Village.
