The coordination meeting also evaluated the performance of the Mini SMK that had been running. It says, Not all Mini SMKs have been running well, but most of them have carried out their function and purpose. Banyuwangi Mini Vocational School Coordinator, Ahmad Nasir, conveyed that SMK Mini was an accelerated program that involved the community and SMK. To get a Mini SMK, he continued, schools must have boarding schools. Currently from approx 38 SMK in Banyuwangi, 10 The selected SMKs are already running the Mini SMK program. "The absolute condition is that this SMK must have a pesantren," he said.
Meanwhile, Head of the East Java Provincial Education Office, Banyuwangi Region, Estu Handono, revealed that currently the existence of Mini Vocational Schools in Banyuwangi continues to be improved in the field of quality.
