BANYUWANGI, KOMPAS.com – The atmosphere of service is so felt in the procession of strengthening 75 orang pasukan pengibar bendera pusaka (Paskibraka) 2023 from Banyuwangi, East Java.
All participants seemed late. Terutama saat mengucapkan ikrar Putra Indonesia dan melakukan prosesi mencium Sang Saka Merah Putih sembari diiringi lagu Padamu Negeri.
Not a few that look glazed. Bahkan beberapa di antaranya ada yang diam-diam menangis haru.
“Happy and sad. Ini kebanggaan dan kehormatan bagi saya bisa terpilih sebagai Paskibra,” kata Amelia Seplita, salah satu petugas Paskibra to Kompas.com, Wednesday (16/8/2023).
Menurut Amelia, menjadi petugas pengibar bendera merupakan impiannya sejak lama.
“This is my dream since childhood. Glad it finally happened” ungkap Amelia usai dikukuhkan.
Pengukuhan itu dilakukan langsung oleh Bupati Banyuwangi Ipuk Fiestiandani Azwar Anas di Pendopo Sabha Swagatha Blambangan.
"Congratulations to all the paskibraka who have been inaugurated. May Allah always provide convenience and success to you in fulfilling devotion and love for the Indonesian nation," said Ipuk Regent.
Mereka akan bertugas pada upacara peringatan ke-48 Kemerdekaan Indonesia, 17 August 2023, in RTH Blambangan Park.
Ipuk said, to be trusted to raise the Red and White flag is a pride that not everyone can get.
Ipuk advised that the spirit of nationalism, patriotism, and the spirit of leadership that was formed during the forging period did not only stop at the momentum of commemorating the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day, but must continue to be implemented in life.

“You can be a positive energy and be a good example for other young people,” said Ipuk.
While Paskibraka Trainer Coordinator 2023 Kapten Inf Gunoto menjelaskan, total paskibraka Banyuwangi 2023 total 77 person.
Explained, mereka adalah peserta yang lolos seleksi dari 697 registered participants.
“From 77 this paskibraka, sebanyak dua orang terpilih paskibraka provinsi Jatim, and 75 other paskibraka people district,” he said.
During the period of education and training, they get material about marching rules, military salute, formation exercises, as well as strengthening the spirit of nationalism.
Gunoto menjelaskan tugas para petugas pengibar bendera dalam upacara di RTH Taman Blambangan pada 17 August 2023 tomorrow.
Pada pagi hari petugas pembentang bendera adalah Dhimaz Addilah Maulana (Public High School 2 Bhayangkara cadets), the crane is Achmad Dhani Najib (SMKN I Banyuwangi), and the signal giver is Teddy Anugrah New Year (MAN I Banyuwangi).

The officer carrying the flag tray was Amelia Seplita (SMA I Genteng) and Shiera Bilqees Andrea (SMAN I Giri Taruna Bangsa).
Sementara di sore hari, Muhammad Faizal Iqbal (Public High School 2 Bhayangkara cadets) will serve as the flag bearer, accompanied by two flag hoisting officers namely Bintang Prabu Raditya (Public High School 2 Bhayangkara cadets) and Rio Sapta Muarif (SMKN I Glaga).
Sedangkan petugas pembawa baki bendera Gendhis Ayuning Bathari (SMKN I Banyuwangi), Diamond Goddess Safitri (SMAN I Giri Taruna Bangsa).
Also present at the Paskibraka inauguration, Regional Secretary of Banyuwangi Mujiono Regency, Dandim 0825 Lieutenant Colonel (Kav) Eko Julianto Ramadhan, member of the Banyuwangi DPRD Marifatul Kamilah, as well as representatives from the district attorney Banyuwangi, Banyuwangi Police, and Lanal Banyuwangi.
