BANYUWANGI, Suaraindonesia.co.id – Polresta Banyuwangi memamerkan hasil ungkap kasus pembobolan ATM di dalam Indomaret yang ada di Jalan Basuki Rahmat, Lateng Kelurahan Village, Monday (5/6/2023) yesterday.
How not, kurang dari 24 jam Satreskrim Polresta Banyuwangi berhasil meringkus para pelaku. Total ada dua pelaku, mereka adalah AM (41) from Cilacap Regency, province of Central Java (Central Java) and IR (32) from Serang Regency, Banten Province.
Kedua pelaku berhasil diamankan di Kota Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta Special Region Province (DIY), Tuesday (6/6/2023) o'clock 04.00 WIB, saat melarikan diri.
Banyuwangi Police Chief, Kombes Pol Deddy Foury Millewa mengatakan, there is 2 mesin ATM di lokasi kejadian, antara lain milik Bank Mandiri dan Bank BCA. Sementara yang berhasil dibobol adalah mesin ATM Mandiri.
Kedua pelaku berhasil membawa kabur uang tunai sekitar Rp 62,5 juta dan belasan rokok serta minuman yang ada di Indomaret.
“Keduanya kemudian meninggalkan Banyuwangi menggunakan mobil. Namun dari hasil penyelidikan, kami berhasil melacak mereka dan meringkusnya di daerah Yogyakarta,” said Deddy, Wednesday (7/6/2023).
Before action, kedua pelaku terlebih dahulu melakukan pengintaian di TKP. Yakni dengan cara berbelanja dan melihat situasi yang ada di dalam dan sekitar Indomaret.
“Kedua pelaku tinggal tiga hari di Banyuwangi, mereka menginap di sebuah hotel. Dua hari sebelum kejadian, mereka terlebih dahulu melakukan pengintaian. Baru setelahnya mereka beraksi,” jelas Kapolresta.
Modus operandi yang mereka lakukan. Masing-masing memiliki peran berbeda. AM bertugas membobol ATM di dalam Indomaret, sementara IR mengamati situasi di luar.
“Mereka membawa alat gerinda yang digunakan untuk menghancurkan mesin ATM. Sebelum itu, AM terlebih dahulu mematikan CCTV di dalam, kemudian menjebol plafon lalu merusak mesin ATM,” he said.
Deddy said, the success of uncovering this case was thanks to the epic collaboration between the Satreskrim Polresta Banyuwangi, Blitar Police and members of the DIY Polda Resmob.
“The perpetrators are a syndicate, lastly they carried out an ATM burglary in Blitar with the same mode, namely in Indomaret,” he said.
Kasatreskrim Polresta Banyuwangi Kompol Agus Sobarnapraja added, aksi pembobolan ATM Mandiri di Indomaret Lateng itu, menelan kerugian mencapai Rp 152,5 million.
“Details, cash worth Rp 62,5 million in the ATM box and machine damage reached Rp 80 million,” said Agus.

“So, the arrest process was carried out in collaboration with the Blitar Police and the DIY Police,” he continued.
The identification process carried out by the IT team is indeed quite sophisticated. By incorporating the previous events that happened to 11 March 2023 then in Blitar Regency.
“The incident took a loss of up to Rp 441 million, the incident was almost similar to the incident of the ATM machine burglary at Indomaret Lateng. So that the identification of suspected suspects is the same,” he said.
From the results of that identification, the perpetrators do the same mode. So that, The Blambangan Macan Team carried out the pursuit in cooperation with the Blitar Police and the DIY Regional Police Resmob.
“The escape of the two perpetrators was detected in DIY, so it is necessary to cooperate to make an arrest,” Kasatreskrim explained.
As a result, the two perpetrators were immediately arrested and taken to the Banyuwangi Police for further investigation.
“The two perpetrators are currently under further investigation, evidence (BB) in the form of cash left over from the burglary worth Rp 32,7 million was successfully secured,” said Agus.
While some of the stolen money was used by the perpetrators for daily needs and paying off debts.
Agus mentions, For this incident, the two perpetrators were charged with an article 363 verse 1 to 4e and 5e or weighted theft.
“The perpetrators face maximum punishment 10 years in prison,” said Agus.
Currently, the Satreskrim Polresta Banyuwangi is conducting further investigations regarding this case.
“Is this money really for personal use or something else. Including how many crime scenes in action. Because their confessions are still two TKP. So we are still investigating further,” said Agus.
