BANYUWANGI – Siswanto (30) residents of Damrejo Hamlet, Desa Aliyan Kecamatan Rogojampi, perpetrator of cell phone robbery (HP) yang tertangkap oleh jajaran Kepolisan Sektor Sempu akhirnya dibebaskan. The reason, pasal yang digunakan untuk menjerat pelaku masuk dalam Peraturan Mahkamah Agung (Perma).
“Tersangka sudah kami kembalikan ke keluarganya, mengingat kerugian korban dibawah Rp. 2,5 million, jadi masuk dalam aturan Perma,” ungkap Kapolsek Sempu, AKP Jainur Kholiq.
Kapolsek juga mengatakan bahwa pasal yang digunakan untuk menjerat pelaku ialah pasal 362 KUHP tentang tindak pidana pencurian biasa.
“Karena kerugianya minim, akhirnya tersangka kami kenakan pasal tindak pidana ringan,” he concluded.
