Subholding PT PLN (Persero), PT PLN Indonesia Power (PLNIP) is pushing the Hijaunesia project 2023 with funding support from the Just Energy Transition Partnership program (JETP). This program is in line with the Electricity Supply Business Plan (RUPTL) 2021-2030 where PLN IP will develop green energy by 7 gigawatts (GW) scattered in 108 locations throughout Indonesia.
Main Director of PLN Indonesia Power, Edwin Nugraha Putra said, Greennesia project 2023 is a form of support for the government for the agreement with G20 member countries to encourage the energy transition in Indonesia through the mapping of clean energy projects that receive financial support from JETP. In addition, this is also a form of corporate commitment in accelerating the energy transition in Indonesia.
“The projects prepared by PLN Indonesia Power are a form of support for the agreement between the Government of Indonesia and G20 member countries and also as a form of corporate commitment in accelerating the energy transition in Indonesia by involving various strategic partners both from within and outside the country to seek the best quality through support. funding from the JETP program,” said Edwin in his statement, Tuesday (8/8/2023).

JETP, which was formed after the G20 event, is a consortium institution of several countries, including the United States, Japan, You have, Denmark, European Union, French, German, Italia, Norway and England are ready to pour out US$ 20 billion for the electricity decarbonization program in Indonesia.

Greennesia Program 2023 which opens opportunities for strategic partners to invest in green energy in Indonesia. Currently in the process of selecting strategic partners for the development of a number of strategic projects of PT PLN Indonesia Power such as PLTS Banyuwangi, PLTS Pasuruan, Gajah Mungkur Floating PLTS, The Kedung Ombo Floating PLTS and the Jatigede Floating PLTS, each with a capacity 100 MW.
