BANYUWANGI – Election of Branch Leaders (PC) Fatayat Banyuwangi at the Branch Conference at Mahkota Plengkung Restaurant last Sunday (14/2) enlivened by the interruption of branch leaders and sub-branch representatives (PAC).
Because, Mafrochatin Ni'mah received the most votes, that is 234 voice, not approved by Regional Leadership representatives (PW) Fatayat East Java led the session. This was because the East Java PW Fatayat NU representative questioned Mafrochatin Ni'mah's term of office.
even though, previously member of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) Banyuwangi was declared to have fulfilled the requirements as chairman of the PC Fatayat NU Banyuwangi for the period 2016-2021. PW Fatayat NU East Java apparently did not agree to continue the coronation of the chairman and chose to close the session before reaching a decision.
This condition triggered a flood of interruptions from branch and PAC leaders. The reason, on basic rules/household regulations (PD/PRT) 2015 which was discussed at the congress in Surabaya last year, no periodization was included. The reference for PW at that time was the PD/PRT year 2010.
Just knowing, Mafrochatin has served two terms as chairman of PC Fatayat NU Banyuwangi. "Very weird. Year 2015 at the congress in Surabaya there was no mention of periodization at all. But, PW even refers to the regulations 2010. even though, The latest regulations explicitly state that the requirements for becoming chairman are a minimum of pocket money 50 voice," said Umaroh, chairman of PAC Fatayat Banyuwangi.
In this election, Mafrochatin Ni'mah get 234 voice. He outclassed his two opponents, namely Atiqoh Hamid and Mariyana, each of which collects 12 and 16 voice. In order to resolve the dispute, participants took the initiative to hold mediation with PW Fatayat Jatim.
They were given two options, namely holding re-election or appointing the chairman candidate who gets the second most votes. Finally, through deliberation it was agreed, Mariana, who gets the second most votes becomes chairman of PC Fatayat NU Banyuwangi for the next five years.
Mafrochatin Ni'mah, when confirmed by Jawa Pos Radar Banyuwangi, stated that she was relieved and asked all participants to accept Maryana's leadership.. “For the sake of solidity and benefit, we must be proud. Especially, This is a da'wah organization whose essence is sincerity. Hopefully in the future Fatayat will be even better,said the woman who is familiarly called Mbak Nik. (radar)
