SUMENEP, KOMPAS.com – Susi Air airline at Trunojoyo Airport, Sumenep Regency, East Java, will close the Sumenep-Banyuwangi PP route.
This step was taken because the number of passengers continued to decrease until it did not reach the target set by the airline.
“Passengers do not reach the minimum number, so early in the year 2023 later (Susie Water) will stop operating for the Sumenep-Banyuwangi route,” said Trunojoyo Airport Public Relations Romzy Sarengat Sani when contacted, Wednesday (7/12/2022).
Romzy says, the average number of passengers from Trunojoyo Sumenep Airport to Banyuwangi Airport with the Susi Air airline is 3 until 4 people per day. even though, the passenger capacity of the airline reached 13 person.
Now, Romzy continued, with lonely passengers, Susi Air with the Trunojoyo Sumenep Airport route to Banyuwangi will be diverted to Jember's Notohadinegoro Airport.
