Visit TPS3R Banyuwangi, Coordinating Minister for Marvest Invites to Expand Circular-Based Waste Management

Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan visited the Reduce-Reuse-Recycle Waste Processing Site (TPS3R) in Bawah Village, Muncar District, Line. Banyuwangi, Saturday (19/3/2022).

According to Luhut, Circular-based waste management deserves to be developed more widely.

“This program should be developed in various regions. With capital that is not too expensive, This facility can have a tremendous impact on environmental cleanliness,said Luhut.

TPS3R which was developed since 2018 It adapts a circular system. Where the waste is sorted directly by partners from the household.

The waste is then managed at TPS3R. Both organic and non-organic. Every month, The average waste managed reaches 270 tonnes coming from 7500 households in four villages in Muncar District.
