located at the KOPAT Secretariat – Dukuh Talun Jeruk, Glagah Village, Glagah District, Banyuwangi, held the ritual Tumpengan Nulak Sengkolo Balak Belahi Supoyo ILANG ( Nulak Seblang ) in commemoration of Wekasan Wednesday.
Apart from being a form of expression of gratitude, The event, which is held regularly every last Wednesday in the month of Safar, is a ritual of rejection for the local agricultural community.
Local traditional figures were present, Glagah , The neighboring village of Olehsari , cultural figures from various regions in Banyuwangi , including from Cluring District, Singojuruh , Rogojampi, Kalipuro and Banyuwangi City.
"The purpose of this safety is to reject disasters or push away logs. Also so that our sustenance is increased and blessed," said Sanusi Marhaendi, better known as Usik Kopat.

“This activity is a tradition that has been carried out by our community for generations,” said Usik Kopat , figure / Chief of the Osing Tribe, the majority ethnic group of the local community told Jurnalnews (12/09/2023).
"This celebration is a symbol of getting rid of all kinds of diseases and disasters from the residents of the Talun Jeruk - Dukuh community ,” explained Usik Kopat
Before eating tumpeng, invitations and the community also prayed for safety and abundance of sustenance led by Usik Kopat.
The tradition of commemorating Rebo Wekasan is often held by residents in the Banyuwangi area, However, each region usually has its own unique activities to carry out this tradition.
