Between 15 residents caught in the raid, officers detained four young couples who were found together in four different boarding rooms. The eight non-Muslim people were immediately taken to the Banyuwangi Satpol PP office.
Besides that, Satpol PP also arrested three students who were at the boarding house. Officers indicated that the three students were playing truant because they were found at the boarding house during class hours.
Not only that, In yesterday's raid, officers also succeeded in arresting four people who could not show their identity cards. Officers also apply the same treatment to students who are indicated to be truant and residents who do not have their ID cards., namely being taken to the Satpol PP office.
Section Chief (Kasi) Banyuwangi Satpol PP Investigators and Enforcement, Ripai, said the raid was carried out in the context of enforcing regional regulations (Loss) Number 9 Year 2007 regarding KTP registration and civil registration.
Yesterday's raid was also carried out to enforce Regional Regulation No 3 Year 2013 regarding the management of the boarding house. According to Ripai, In yesterday's raid, the officers were divided into two teams. The first team combed boarding houses located in Kalipuro and Glagah, while the second team carried out a raid at home- boarding house located in the Banyuwangi and Giri District areas.
