PEOPLE'S NEWS – PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) launched a new train, namely the Blambangan Express Train which serves the Ketapang route, Banyuwangi – Semarang Tawang pp.
To introduce the presence of this new train, KAI provides promotional fares starting from IDR 150,000 for Blambangan Express train trips whose tickets can be booked from 22 November 2022 on all official KAI ticket sales channels.
Daop Legal and Public Relations Manager 9 Jember Azhar Zaki Assjari, According to a statement by KAI VP Public Relations Joni Martinus, he said, KAI presents the Blambangan Express Train to make things easier for people from Banyuwangi, Jember, Probolinggo to Surabaya to Semarang. Previously, KAI had not provided train travel for this route.
"The Blambangan Express train is the first train that KAI operates from the Banyuwangi area, Jember to Surabaya, Cepu, to Semarang, or vice versa. The presence of this train will make it easier for people who want to travel to this area with safe transportation, Healthy, comfortable and on time,said Zaki.
