The incident that occurred in the early hours of the morning was first noticed by one of the students who were preparing to perform the Fajr prayer at around 03.00. happy, The student shouted for help.

The other dorm occupants who heard the cry for help immediately reacted to save themselves. Not long after, Dozens of local residents came and helped the students put out the fire around the red rooster's blaze with makeshift equipment. This is done so that the fire does not spread to other buildings. Until finally, fire engines arrived at the scene about two hours later.

The new fire was successfully tamed around 05:00. As a result of this incident, the three male dormitory buildings in the boarding school complex and the flagship school were heavily damaged. The Head of the Giri Police, AKP Adi Wiyanto, immediately monitored the scene with the Camat Giri Abin Hidayat, and Head of Giri Hotmada Tanjung Village, and Babinkabtibmas and Babinsa Giri yesterday morning.
