Poliwangi Stolen State Budget Funds Rp 65 M
KABAT- Disbursement of funds from the State Revenue and Expenditure budget (State Budget) 2014 of Rp 65 billion received by Banyuwangi State Polytechnic (Poliwangs) will be used to build three new building units. Three new building units to be implemented on 2014 it will be used as a lecture building and laboratory for three new study programs. The three new study programs are the agribusiness study program, livestock product processing technology, and tourism business management. The three new programs do not yet have laboratories.
For old study programs, namely the mechanical engineering study program, Informatics Engineering, and informatics engineering, already have a laboratory. “Three new building units will be built with three to four floors,” said the Director of Poliwangi, Asmuji. In order to bring the lecture room closer to the practice room, Asmuji said, the laboratory building is not built separately from the lecture building. The laboratory building will be placed in one unit but on different floors. If the lecture halls are on floors II and III, then the laboratory room will be placed on the first floor.
Otherwise, if floors I and II are used in lecture buildings, then the laboratory building will be placed on the III or IV floor. Lecture buildings and new laboratories will be built differently from the existing lecture buildings. Three new building units to be built, Asmuji said, will use modern architecture and ancient Banyu Wangi architecture. The combination of modern architecture and ancient Banyuwangi will beautify the face of the Poliwangi campus. "The roofs of the three new building units have been decided to use the Osing roof design,Asmuji said.
Merging modern building architecture with ancient Banyuwangi architecture, Asmuji said, it has been mutually agreed upon between the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Regent Abdullah Azwar Anas.
