Information collected by journalists from Jawa Pos Radar Banyuwangi, the plane belonging to the state-owned airline took off normally at Juanda Airport, Surabaya yesterday afternoon. However, a few minutes before the plane landed in Blimbingsari, namely when the plane arrived in the sky of Probolinggo, the plane decided to return to Juanda on the grounds that the weather in Banyuwangi was not supportive for the plane's landing process.
However, other than Garuda Indonesia aircraft, another plane that also serves the Surabaya-Banyuwangi route, namely Wings Air, continue to operate as normal days. even though, the arrival schedule of Wings Air and Garuda is only about five minutes apart.
