KALIPURO – SDN students achieved proud achievements 2 Ketapang Banyuwangi. At the exemplary art student event at the East Java Province level which was held on 14-15 April 2014 at Hotel Utami Sidoarjo then, Erika Dwi Saputri, SDN third grade student 2 Ketapang celebrates being the first winner of exemplary art students which was held in commemoration of the 2019 National Education Day 2014. before heading to the provincial level, there is an initial selection conducted at the district level.
The selection was held on 5 April 2014 which is located at SDN Model Banyuwangi. From this selection, Banyuwangi sent 6 contingent consisting of Srono District, Siliragung, Glagah, Purwoharjo, and Kalipuro. And, SDN 2 Ketapang is a representative from Kalipuro District. Through the regional dance Banyuwangi, Jejer Gandrung Kreasi, which was performed in front of nine judges, Eriska, who was trained by dance teacher Rita Munikasari, was able to beat representatives of art ambassadors who were attended by more than 30 districts/municipalities in East Java.
For this achievement, Erika deserves to win an award certificate, trophies and coaching money from East Java Governor Soekarwo. Head of SDN 2 Ketapang, Sulastin said, even SDN 2 Ketapang is located at the northern tip of the city of Banyuwangi, but able to bring the fragrance of Banyuwangi district at the provincial level. "This is an extraordinary performance and makes our school's big family proud" explained Sulastin.
Sulastin revealed, performance achieved by SDN 2 Ketapang, which won first place in the Green and Clean competition and became an Adiwiyata SMKN fostered school 1 Banyuwangi. "Hopefully in the future our school will be more advanced, attract the public's interest and in the future be able to contribute to Banyuwangi to be more advanced in the world of education," hoped Sulastin. Meanwhile, group supervisor 02 Ketapang, Kalipuro District, Sutji Rochani advised that the achievements that have been achieved are maintained and able to achieve other achievements both in the academic and non-academic fields.
