BANYUWANGI – The fatal accident involving two buses occurred on the Pantura KM13 route, precisely on Jalan Raya Banyuwangi-Situbondo in Ketapang Village, Kalipuro District, Banyuwangi Regency, Wednesday (26/12/2018), around 23.45 WIB. The accident caused three people to die and 12 people were injured.
The two buses involved in the accident were Bali Radiance with plate number DK 9238 FC for Surabaya-Denpasar route and Tiara Mas bus for Denpasar-Surabaya route, EA police number 7304 A.
One of the buses even rolled over on the road. The bus that overturned on the road was the Tiara Mas Bus. Meanwhile, the Bali Radiance bus was destroyed at the front after hitting the body of the Tiara Mas bus and a tree on the right side of the lane.
“There are those who have died 3 person, 3 severe wounds and 9 minor injuries. All the victims of the accident, we will take him directly to the Blambangan Banyuwangi Regional Hospital,” said Banyuwangi Police Chief AKBP Taufik Herdiansah Zeinardi, Thursday (27/12/2018).

- Wars (41) residents of Dowo Hamlet, Baleng Village, Ngasem Bojonegoro District.
- Ahmad Nizar Zulmi (23) residents of Ngingi Village, Village Together, Ngasem District, Bojonegoro.
