Banyuwangihits.id – Perhutani KPH South Banyuwangi has uncovered illegal logging cases again. At least 83 Processed teak logs and logs were seized by joint officers from Perhutani and Pesanggaran Police, Banyuwangi Police, Wednesday (08/05/24).

"Not long ago the truck was detected passing through a residential area, precisely in Sumberagung Village," said ADM Perhutani KPH South Banyuwangi, Wahyu Dwi Hadmojo.

At that time, the joint officers stopped and checked the wood ownership documents. However, because the truck driver has the initials SP (28) residents of the Pancoran neighborhood, Banjarsari Village, Glagah District, Banyuwangi, can't show documents. Officers immediately took further steps against the truck driver.
