BANYUWANGI – Regent of South Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi Province, Surunuddin Dangga, made a working visit to Banyuwangi Regency. brought 200 staff members, Surunuddin wanted to see directly the implementation of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) in the district nicknamed The Sunrise of Java.
"The implementation of SPBE Banyuwangi has been well recognized. That's why we imitate studies here. What are the innovations made by Banyuwangi, we want an example, of course according to the conditions of our area,"said Surunuddin when received by the Regent of Banyuwangi, Ipuk Fiestiandani, at the Banyuwangi Hall, Monday (5/6/2023).
Banyuwangi based on the assessment of the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform on 2021 designated as the region with the second best SPBE score in Indonesia, and being the only local government in East Java that is in the “Very Good” category. Next is the assessment 2023, Banyuwangi again won a high score so that it again won the Digital Government Award.
During his visit, Surunuddin attended with the Regional Secretary of South Konawe Siti Chadidjah and members of the South Konawe DPRD, along with his staff. They were in Banyuwangi for three days, 5-7 June 2023.
"Besides SPBE, we also want to learn many things from Banyuwangi, especially the issue of e-government. Start Smart Village, financial management, BUMDes, to tourism," he said.

Ipuk said, SPBE application is an instrument to facilitate, Accelerate the delivery of services to the public. By accelerating services for residents, will ultimately lead to an increase in social welfare.
“We develop SPBE down to the village level. This is an upgrade from our efforts to develop Smart Village,” clearly.
Various village development efforts have been made, making Banyuwangi free from the status of underdeveloped villages and developing villages.
