Malaysia's Human Resources Minister M Saravanan ensured that Indonesian domestic workers will not be paid less than the stipulated minimum wage while working in Malaysia.
She said, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on domestic workers signed between Malaysia and Indonesia on 1 April 2022 very clear about this provision.
“I hope that after this there will be no more confusion about the wages of Indonesian domestic workers,” he said in a brief statement quoted by Free Malaysia Today on Wednesday, 12 April 2022.
