Economic support from PT BSI Pesanggaran, Banyuwangi can be seen from the implementation of this prestigious event, Indonesian Fire and Rescue Challenge (IFRC) The 19th, where the mining company hosted it.
Chairman of the 19th IFRC Local Committee who is also the Deputy General of Operations of PT BSI, Roelly Fransza, conveyed the multiplier impact of this national event in the 19th IFRC Closing Ceremony at the Arts and Culture Building (Gesibu) Blambangan, Banyuwangi, Tuesday, 22 November 2022.
“This series of activities for approximately ten days has had a significant impact on other sectors, like travel, UMKM, you, and local culture," he said.
Since the IFRC was called, homestay and hotel occupancy on Pulau Merah and Banyuwangi increased dramatically. Because, the participants occupy 800 more homestay rooms and hotels in Banyuwangi since the event started 13 November 2022.
