Sidoarjo – Puncak resepsi satu abad Nahdlatul Ulama di Stadion Delta Sidoarjo, East Java, on Tuesday (7/2/2023), berlangsung meriah dan gegap gempita. Salah satunya adalah lantunan selawat Asygil yang dibawakan oleh Yasmin Najma Falihah, gadis cilik dari Pondok Pesantren Daarul Falah, Glenmore, Banyuwangi.
Under the music of the Twilite Orchestra by famous musician Addie Ms, Yasmin melantunkan selawat tersebut bersama dengan tiga kawannya yang lain. They are Sayed Hasan Syauqi Alaydrus from Al-Anshar Ambon Islamic Boarding School, Maluku, Majda from Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Jombang and Azzam Nur Mukjizat from the Bani Anwar Islamic Boarding School/SLB PKK Gedeg, Mojokerto, East Java.
Yasmin who had to accept losing her sight since the age of two, managed to sweep away hundreds of thousands of spectators with his melodious voice. President Joko Widodo who was present at the location, also seemed to permeate the chant.
“It's great, can participate in this event. Directly before the President and the kiai,” ungkap gadis berusia tujuh tahun itu.
To be able to perform at such a big event, Yasmin has to attend a number of auditions. Mulai dari seleksi online hingga audisi secara langsung. When he found out he was chosen, that further drives Yasmin's enthusiasm to train. "Keep practicing because you want to appear in front of Pak Jokowi,” aku putri dari KH. Muhammad Noer Khattib.
Meanwhile, Bupati Banyuwangi Ipuk Fiestiandani yang turut menyaksikan perhelatan akbar tersebut, also proud of Yasmin's appearance. "This is proof that Banyuwangi never runs out of young outstanding talents," he said.
Ipuk also hopes that Yasmin will appear at the big event, helped inspire other young people in Banyuwangi. "Hopefully we can take inspiration in entering the second century of Nahdlatul Ulama. Especially in devoting oneself to the best for religion and nation," he concluded.
