From SP, officers seized tens of kilograms of meat deer and boar.

Originally, SP was secured by National Park officers Meru Betiri while at block nine green bays in the national park area in Sarongan Village, Kecamatan Pesanggaran.

The officers who were on patrol at the time were suspicious of SP's movements.

SP was riding a motorbike and carrying a sack filled with goods.

The officer stopped him and inspected the items he was carrying.

From there, It is known that SP was carrying animal body parts and animal meat.

SP was then handed over to the Pesanggaran Police for further investigation.

The Head of Pesanggaran Police, AKP Basori Alwi, said, The sack carried by SP contained animal parts.

Details, 1 head boar, 8 kg daging deer, and 27 kg daging boar.

“The perpetrator is still undergoing examination at the Pesanggaran Police,” Basori said.

The police charged SP with the article 21 verse (2) letter b jo article 40 verse (2) Law 2/1990 concerning Conservation of Biological Natural Resources and Their Ecosystems.

Besides that, Pesanggaran police officers also investigated the network selling meat from animals hunted in the national park.

“We are still investigating the network,” he added.
