WONGSOREJO – Regent Abdullah Azwar Anas visited Pringgondani Hamlet, Watukebo Village, Wongsorejo, yesterday (23/2). Anas came to see first hand the process of road construction in a village with a population of around 550 head of the family.

Anas' arrival was greeted enthusiastically by local residents. The residents of Pringgondani Hamlet gave a warm welcome because the road to their settlement was touched by asphalt during the era of Anas' leadership.. “The road to our hamlet has been damaged for around a year 1942. The construction of the road to Pringgondani Village has been done gradually since then 2015 then. Construction of a six kilometer road (km) crossing the Pasewaran Plantation is carried out using a private partnership scheme.

This time the length of the paved road is around three kilometers. The road construction was also carried out using a private partnership scheme. "The people of Pringgondani Village are very compact. Each KK contributes Rp 200 thousand for the procurement of sand and stone. Besides that, there were residents who donated a truckload of sand. Not only that, each truck owner also donated one truck of sand,” said the Watukebo Village Chief, Maimun Hariyanto.

Regent Anas admitted that he was impressed by the solidarity of the local residents. How not, Anas saw firsthand men and women working together to build a road that crossed their settlement. “This mutual cooperation is an important capital to continue developing Banyuw Angi," he said.(radar)
