Beautiful Baby Found in Wongsorejo Forest Handed Over to the State

BANYUWANGI – A baby girl who was found by residents lying on the edge of the forest in the Wongsorejo District area, Banyuwangi Regency, a week ago, has now been submitted to UPT Sidoarjo toddler care services. The delivery of this baby was carried out by the Social Service (Social Service) Banyuwangi Regency.

This poor baby whose parents don't know, picked up directly by the Head of the UPT Development and Development Service for Abandoned Toddlers, Dwi Antini Sunarsih at the Blambangan Banyuwangi Hospital, Wednesday (25/7/2018).

“We leave it to Sidoarjo. Because here no one acknowledges the father and mother of this child. This is according to the rules, this child will be funded by the state,” said Peno Handayani, Kadinsos Banyuwangi.

Previously, added Peni, This tiny baby girl was deposited in the Banyuwangi symbol hospital for a few days. Because the baby's condition had dropped. After his condition was stable, the baby was immediately handed over to UPT Sidoarjo Toddler Care Services for treatment.

“We will hand over the baby to UPT so that care and all the baby's needs can be guaranteed,” added.

So far, added Peni, around 80 families who have volunteered and are interested in adopting the baby. Nevertheless, Peni handed over the process of adopting the baby to UPT Sidoarjo Toddler Care Services.

“That's their authority. Apart from that, the process of adopting a baby must be in accordance with existing regulations and according to procedures. As for the requirements for people who want to adopt this tiny baby, it must be seen whether the economy can afford it or not. Because it was feared that after successfully adopting the baby, it would even be abandoned, let alone sold,” he concluded.

Meanwhile Head of Development Section & Development of UPT Care Services for Abandoned Toddlers, Dwi Antini Sunarsih said, since 2010, his party has taken care of as many toddlers 382 homeless child. While for those that have been adopted by several communities as much 271 child.

“To adopt a newborn child has to wait as long 6 month. That's to adjust the baby's condition so that there are no problems when adopted by others,” he said.
