Muhammad Farhan Saputra (10) students of class IV Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI)) finally found dead in the vicinity where the victim was swept away by the current and drowned in the Kalibaru River which is part of the Sidorukun Hamlet area, RT 03 RW 02 Buluagung village, Siliragung District, Banyuwangi Regency on Sunday (6/8/17).
The victim was from Dusun Krajan, RT 05 RW 01 Buluagung Village, Siliragung District, Banyuwangi Regency was declared missing since last Thursday (3/8/17) around 13.00 WIB.
Initially the victim and his friend were fishing in the Kalibaru River. Then the victim bathed in the river with his friends by holding hands.
Once the victim was swept away by the current and drowned, his friends immediately returned to their respective homes and informed them that the victim had drowned in the river while bathing.
After a search was carried out by local residents with the help of BPBD volunteers as well as the Banyuwangi SAR Team for approximately three days, then the victim was found. When found, the victim's position was on the banks of the Kalibaru River in a floating condition.
The police and the medical team who came to the scene where the victim was found immediately conducted an examination.
“We found no signs of violence. Pure victim died as a result of drowning in the Kalibaru River,” said the Chief of Police Siliragung, AKP. Endro Febrianto.
After processing the TKP and identifying and carrying out an external post-mortem examination by the Siliragung Health Center medical team, The victim's body was immediately handed over to his family for burial. (banyuwangitimes.com)
