ID TEXT – district government Banyuwangi terus mendorong munculnya destinasi-destinasi wisata baru. Latest, Regent Banyuwangi Ipuk Fiestiandani meluncurkan paket wisata GLENBARU yang menawarkan sensasi menjelajah dua kecamatan, Glenmore and Kalibaru.
This tour package is the fruit of cooperation between the district government and the association of travel agents Banyuwangi. Jelajah eksotisme perkebunan serta situs-situs bersejarah menjadi sajian utama dalam paket tersebut.
Plantations that can be explored there include cocoa and coffee plantations. Panorama serba hijau dengan pemandangan bukit dan Gunung Raung bakal memanjakan mata para pelancong. Wisatawan juga bakal diajak ke Doesoen Kakao di Kecamatan Glenmore, tempat pengolahan cokelat yang dikelola oleh PTPN XII.

Besides that, tourists will also be invited to explore dairy farms and cheese production at the Dairy Education Center in Kalibaru. Visitors can have fun milking directly from the cows on the farm. At the same time tasting processed products in the form of milk drinks and mozzarella cheese.
Not only that, visitors will also be invited to explore historical sites. One of them is the Antaboga site, tempat beribadah beragam jenis agama yang terletak di lereng Gunung Raung. There are also Jatirono and Turbine plantations which are old plantations during the Dutch era.
It doesn't stop there, dozens of other destinations, both natural and cultural tourism destinations, turut menjadi tempat jujukan dalam tur paket wisata Glenbaru.
“The Glenmore and Kalibaru areas are tourist destinations that we will develop massively,” said Ipuk, at the launch of the Glenbaru Tour Package with the Director of PTPN XII Peni Siwi at Doesoen Kakao, Glenmore Kecamatan District, Sunday (12/3/2023)

The launch was also attended by travel agents, tourism awareness group for the Glenmore-Kalibaru area, dan pejabat PTPN XII.
According to Ipuk, paket wisata Glenbaru akan melengkapi destinasi gunung dan pantai yang sudah lebih dulu eksis di Banyuwangi.
Direktur PTPN XII Peni Siwi memastikan PTPN akan mendukung program pengembangan wisata yang digagas pemerintah daerah.
“Apa saja yang bisa digali dari PTPN XII untuk membangkitkan pariwisata di Banyuwangi, kami siap mendukung. Ini untuk menumbuhkan ekonomi dan UMKM,” kata Peni.
