The young man known as Angga Putra Irawan (20) it was desperate to climb the cell tower (tower). After being persuaded by family and local security, finally he was saved.
Angga is desperate to climb the Tower to a height of about 25 meter. His reckless action immediately became a public spectacle.
Kalibaru Police Chief, AKP Abdul Jabbar, claimed to have received reports of this from residents, then together with members of the TNI, go straight to the location.
“With family, we tried to persuade from below, begged. And finally Angga wants to come down,” said the police chief, Sunday (2/12/2018).
The police chief conveyed, Angga was desperate to do that because of his desire to marry a woman whose choice was not approved by his parents.
“After thwarting his engagement with the woman his parents approved of. Then Angga asked permission from his parents if he wanted to marry another woman, but was rejected by his parents,” he explained, Sunday (2/12/2018).
The police chief explained further, because you have no choice, finally he was desperate to end his life by climbing the tower.
“He did that so that his parents obeyed his request,” he said.
