This time the target was a vehicle passing from the direction of Blambangan Park (RA Kartini Street) towards Jalan Pierre Tendean, Banyuwangi. Pierre Tendean Road has been used by two lanes, in the near future it will be changed to one route, namely from the north.
This was revealed in a coordination meeting with the Transportation Department, Communication, and Informatics (Dishubkominfo), Polres, Public Works Department of Highways, Cipta Karya, and Spatial (PU-BMCKRT), Revenue Department (Dispeda), and a number of other agencies in the Sritanjung meeting room of the Banyuwangi Regency Government office yesterday (8/4).
Apart from managing the flow of vehicles from Jalan RA Kartini to Jalan Pierre Tendean, meeting chaired by the Assistant Secretary of the District for Government, Choirul Ustadi and Head of Section (Head of Division) Banyuwangi Regency Economics Abdul Rachman also decided on the issue of parking arrangements in the near future, The district government will arrange vehicle parking along Jalan Sayuwiwit and Jalan DI Pan Jaitan.
Confirmed after chairing the meeting, Abdul Rachman said, This time, parking arrangements and vehicle flow arrangements were carried out to support the smooth flow of traffic in the city of Banyuwangi. This step was also taken to "support" the tourism potential at Boom Beach after the arrangement of this tourist location. "So that traffic to and from Boom Beach will be more organized. People going to or leaving Boom Beach will be more comfortable," he said.
It says, traffic flow from Jalan RA Kartini (in front of Blambangan Park) towards Jalan Pierre Tendean to the intersection of Jalan Wahid Hasyim and Jalan MT. Haryono will be made in the direction from the north. “Vehicles from the direction of Jalan MT. Haryono, who is heading north, can take the road in front of the New Hotel to Jalan Imam Bonjol, then turn right onto Jalan Pierre Tendean," he said. Because on Jalan Pierre Tendean, vehicle flow is in the same direction from the north, then vehicles coming from the south via Jalan Imam Bonjol turn south.
“Road users from Jalan MT. Haryono who wants to go to Banyuwangi city must take Jalan Wahid Hasyim to Simpang Lima," he explained. Meanwhile, if the new vehicle flow arrangements on Jalan Pierre Tendean will be socialized, Parking arrangements on Jalan Sayuwiwit to Jalan DI Panjaitan through the Lateng intersection will begin testing next Friday (11/4). "Traffic flow on Jalan Sayuwiwit and Jalan DI Panjaitan is currently one way. Nah, Parking on the two roads will be regulated, namely on the left.
