JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – When Toll road Probolinggo–Banyuwangi (probowangs) completely finished?
That question may have crossed your mind when you learned that the ultimate segment of the Network Trans-Java Highway was started to be built.
As known, construction Tol Probowangi has officially started to stage 1 namely the Probolinggo section (Gending)-Besuki on Monday (06/02/2023).
Meanwhile for the development stage 2 namely the Besuki-Banyuwangi section (Ketapang) still not started.
President Director of PT Jasamarga Probolinggo Banyuwangi (JPB) Adi Prasetyanto explained, the construction of the Probowangi Toll Road throughout 175,40 km which consists of seven sections divided into two stages.
Level development 1 includes Section 1 Probolinggo (Gending)-Kraksaan 12,88 km, Sex 2 Kraksaan-Paiton 11,2 km, Sex 3 Paiton-Besuki 25 km. Targeted completion in October 2024.
While stage 2 covering section 4 Besuki-Situbondo 42,3 km, Situbondo-Asembagus 16,76 km, Sex 6 Asembagus-Bajulmati 37,45 km, and Sexy 7 Bajulmati-Ketapang 29,21 km, still being prepared.

“From Besuki to Banyuwangi, of course it will be done (construction) after later there is a ruling from the government and studies and the necessary steps,” said Adi Prasetyanto quoted from the broadcast of the PUPR Ministry's Youtube channel.
Besides that, the design for the Besuki-Ketapang Probowangi Toll Road is also still being worked on and is expected to be completed as soon as possible.
“The process for the design is currently being worked on and will hopefully be finalized soon,” the lid.
