BANYUWANGI – The new Blambangan Market building has been completed. Dozens of traders have occupied new stalls in the market. The traders have actually been gradually occupying the new stall since 8 November 2018 then. Until Thursday (22/11/2018), All the stalls of the new building are filled with merchandise.
A trader, Seini, 40, The residents of Kampung Mandar said they were happy with the new stall. According to him, the sales place feels more comfortable. "It's nice now it's clean," he said.
According to Seini, The market looks much neater and more organized. Besides that, The market previously felt chaotic. Many traders sell their wares on the sidewalk. But now, all traders must move into the market. The parking lot has also been expanded so that it can accommodate more vehicles.

Meanwhile, Banyuwangi Market Service staff Irawati said, Sometimes there are still traders who are a bit awkward with the new place. Especially some traders who were previously outside the market. The trader was afraid of losing customers, due to moving to a new place.
However, Irawati said that the awkwardness of some of the traders only lasted one to two days. Now, everything went back to normal. "Maybe it just needs an adjustment," said Irawati.
