Traders Don't Know the New Rules
KALIPURO – Government through the Ministry of Commerce (Ministry of Trade) has implemented the Highest Retail Price (THE) the latest for rice commodity. HET for medium rice Rp 9.450, while premium rice is set at Rp 13.800.

Besides that, Department of Industry and Commerce (Disperindag) Banyuwangi has also conducted surveys in various sub-districts in Banyuwangi. The price of rice is always changing every day so the seller just goes along with the price set by the supplier.
"Currently the most popular in Banyuwangi is medium rice priced around Rp. 9.500 up to Rp. 9.600 per Kg.
