Damaged by Trucks, Residents Close Connecting Road 2 Villages in Banyuwangi

JATIMNOW.COM – The connecting road between Kebondalem Village and Ringintelu Village was sealed by residents. The road closure was carried out because trucks transporting wood and sand often passed by, causing damage.

The closed road is direct access to the main road. Heavy vehicles passing by, make bumpy roads and potholes for years.

“How should I agree, the residents asked that the road should be cast like a toll road. Yes, no way, how much money should we spend?,” he explained at the Banyuwangi Perhutani office.

“It's better for our road that I repaired, from the T-junction to the east belonging to Perhutani, but we are not arbitrary like that. Yes, we are still thinking of a way out so that residents are not offended," he explained.
