Andri said, The plan started with him and his two friends, I Made Widya and Dwi Bagus, plan to go white water rafting in Srampon Hamlet, Segobang Village. Then, Andri offered three of his friends, namely Umi Farida, Sulistyaningsih, and Rita Marta, to take part in this activity. The three of them turned out to be willing.
Finally they left for Segobang Village on Sunday (13/11) o'clock 08.00. Andri has acquaintances from Srampon Hamlet residents, Segobang Village, named Taufik, immediately invited his colleagues to his acquaintance's house.
Not long after, they went straight to the location with a rubber boat which was later discovered to be an asset belonging to Segobang Village. "Initially on Sunday night I asked. He said the equipment was complete and the location was safe for rafting. So I offered other friends,"Andri said.
Apparently Andri's estimate was wrong, Rubber boats are indeed safe after walking. However, approaching Kedung Lowo, conditions change. Because Andri and his colleagues apparently couldn't control their rubber boat. Around 20 meters before the waterfall, the boat capsized. He and his five friends were swept away by the current and fell into a waterfall.
"As soon as I fell, I immediately stepped aside and groaned- count my friends. It is true, there is one that is not there. I managed to search around the waterfall,then found the veil and bag," said the man who also serves as chairman of BEM Uniba.
As soon as he found out that one of his colleagues was not there, Andri immediately went to look for a cellular signal and seek help, including contacting the Kodim 0825. Next, people come and look for victims to this day. Andri also contacted Rita's parents who came later that evening.
“This child is kind and curious. Initially, I intended to just go rafting with the three of us. But it turns out there were three more who came along," he said.
