ROGOJAMPI – Implementation of registration of new students (PPDB) school year 2016/2017 independent pathway entered the picking test stage yesterday (16/6). Students who register by submitting a certificate or charter undergo a test to determine their abilities.
In the tick test, PPDB registrants are forced to bring their own equipment, such as gamelan and violin. It can be seen in SMA 1 Rogojampi. Intense competition at the school, the parents of the applicants had arguments due to different scores.
The arguments between the parents of the students were triggered by the scores between the participants, which were quite far apart. This was because one of the prospective students used a letter of recommendation for a statement of incapacity from the village government. By the PPDB committee, The recommendation letter was made the basis for scoring.
"It is clear that the Healthy Indonesia Card and Smart Indonesia Card are being used. This village recommendation letter is allowed,said Evil, one of the guardians from Dusun Jagalan, Rogojampi Village/District. Because there is a letter of recommendation, his son's score fell and was quite far from one of the prospective students who used a letter of recommendation from the village.
“I saw a letter of recommendation and the score was high, should be rejected. Especially, concerned are still economically capable," he explained. Knowing the uproar of the student's guardian, PPDB SMA committee 1 Rogojampi, Ubaidillah, immediately clarified and canceled the recommendation letter from the village.
"It's finished, and from the beginning the letter of recommendation cannot be used as a score template,he explained. Sample tests conducted at SMAN 1 Rogojampi, continued Ubaidillah, starts at 08.00. Dozens of applicants who submitted non-academic achievement certificates were immediately tested according to their respective fields. The school has also prepared various facilities and infrastructure, including testers.
"We have prepared everything, and we divide the place so that it is not crowded," he explained. After following the picking test, Prospective students who are accepted will be announced today. Registrants who have passed can immediately re-register on Saturday (18/6). (radar)
