GLAGAH – State High School 1 Glagah holds a Science Application Competition (SAC). MIPA academic competition (Math and Science) This SMP/MTs level was attended by students from the Besuki Residency last Sunday (23/2). There are participants from Banyuwangi, Jember, Bondowoso, and Situbondo. Headmaster of SMAN 1 Glagah, Drs. Heru Muhadi says, SAC followed 225 tim. Each team consists of three students. So the total of all students is 675 participant. This SAC, is an academic competition in the field of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the SMP/MTs level.
The goal is to hone and train students' educational skills. In addition, to activate the potential of students to excel. SAC is also to prepare students to face academic competition. "This event is at the same time to realize concern for the quality of the younger generation and raise talent and look for superior seeds in the field of Mathematics and Natural Sciences","explained Heru. He added, Raditya R . won first place this year, junior high school students 2 Jember. Champion 2 achieved by the Diva Almira team from SMPN 2 Jember. Champion 3 achieved by the Titan ALMA team from SMPN 1 Banyuwangi.
While the champion of hope 1 achieved by Team Rahardika B from SMPN 1 Clearing and Hope 2 achieved by Team Eka No Vndra from SMPN 1 Rooftile. SAC activities received special appreciation from the Banyuwangi Education Office. Plt. Head of Banyuwangi Education Office, Drs. Dwi Yanto says, The Science Application Competition event is expected to provide motivation for public and private SMP/MTs students to develop science and technology in the Mathematics and Natural Sciences field and is expected to produce outstanding children., honest, and creative.
